About Electric Johnson
Electric Johnson is the solo effort of guitar veteran Paul Johnson. Paul co founded Waxing Poetics in 1983 which produced three critically acclaimed records Hermitage, Manakin Moon & Bedtime Story. Paul moved to New York City in 1992 where he played with the Wharton Tiers Ensemble with cousin Wharton Tiers & played on the "Brighter than Life" LP.In 1996 he opened Compactor Studio in Brooklyn NY & recorded and played on numerous records until its closing in the year 2000. From 2001 - 2012 Paul played with The Master Plan featuring Andy Shernoff of The Dictators, and Keith Streng & Bill Milhizer of the Fleshtones. They recorded two LP's Colossus Of Destiny & Maximum Respect.​Now Paul is doing something he has always wanted to do. Put out his own music his own way. Hope you enjoy it!
