The Night Hour is addressed to God the Father, and symbolizes when Adam and Eve stopped praising and worshipping God, falling from their original, graceful, nature.

At this hour, we remember Jesus’s descent into Hell to preach the Gospel after His resurrection, how troubled He felt in the garden of Gethsemane, where he prayed for His Father’s peace, and Jesus meeting His Apostles after the resurrection and giving them His peace.
