64: HOW TO BE OK WITH THINGS NOT TURNING OUT THE WAY YOU WANT THEM TO

You tell yourself, "it will all be OK", because intuitively you know that's the "right" thing to say, and you really want to feel that way . . . OK with how it all turns out, regardless. But why doesn't that work a lot of the time? Why, even after you say over and over again, "it will all be OK", you DON'T FEEL OK? There are three reasons I believe we do this. Obsess about how something will or will not turn out, despite telling ourselves to "let it go". Curious? Push play and join me as we break it down! Also . . . I mention in the podcast for you to SAVE THE DATE: January 10, 2020. There will be a special one-time training that YOU will be invited to. Stay tuned for more details as it gets closer! 61: OVER DRINKING OR OVER-ANYTHING-ING: INSIDE A PRIVATE COACHING SESSION

You want to STOP doing this or that - over drinking, over eating, under-exercising, whatever. And you tell yourself that you really need to stop . . . but despite the logic, you find yourself going directly against that logic. There is a really good reason why the brain does this, and a really "simple" way to fix it. And using the example of drinking a little too much - or more than you'd like - is a great place to illustrate it. This episode is unique to my previous episodes because I take you behind the curtain - you'll be a fly on the wall in one of my private coaching sessions (of course, the client's participation has been removed to preserve confidentiality).   Does this over drinking example describe you? You'll get some value out of this episode. Not you? The value will translate to anything else in your life you find that you want to stop doing (or start) but just can't seem to get traction. It's not therapy or treatment; rather, it's sound coaching that can be a game-changer. Not part of my FB Tribe yet? 60: WHY YOU DON'T STICK TO NEW, HEALTHY HABITS AND FIND YOURSELF ALWAYS STARTING OVER

Why is it that we (you?!) can have the BEST of intentions with starting an exercise plan, eating better - or even improving relationships - and no matter how well-intentioned and how successfully we start off, we find ourselves right back into our old habits? Actually, there's a really good reason for this. And a really easy way to create new habits without wrestling with your willpower.  Think about it. What if you could easily create the habits that would propel your health and physique to a whole new level? That's exactly what will cover in this episode. By the way, I covered the "Five Day Challenge" I mention in this episode in my Private Facebook Group (and I even demonstrated a workout move in my own home gym!). Not part of it yet? 53: THE HEALTH RISK RIGHT UNDER MY NOSE - BREAST IMPLANT "ILLNESS" AND MY STORY

It's embarrassing. As a sought-after health consultant I had a toxic stressor right under my nose and it wasn't even on my radar. That is, until about 8 months ago.  I've had breast implants for nearly 13 years and it turns out my body has been a saint in dealing with the toxicity. But, it's also been "talking" to me all along the way. Dropping subtle clues that something wasn't quite right.  I'll save the rest for the episode - symptoms, the help I got, what I did about it, and why.  If you don't have implants, this episode can still be for you. Odds are you know someone who does, or someone who's been thinking about it. If not, well, it's a lesson in "finding the root cause" to what might be perpetuating your health and fitness challenges.  Let's do this! Go to www.MichelleFit.com/bloodtests to get on the waitlist for my upcoming course: The Top 5 Blood Tests for Women - How to Order, Understand, and Monitor  In today's episode, we chat about liver detoxing - well, the liver in general.  The liver gets little respect. What does it entail, and more importantly, what might we consider when evaluating if it's even safe? Well, no more questioning - let's get right to the episode! Episode 49: Thyroid Conversation

It comes up, in some form, at once a week - a question related to hypothyroid or the thyroid in general. But there is a lot of confusion around how to test it, and how it's connected to other organs and systems in the body. Fatigue, hair loss and hair thinning, low cold tolerance, constipation, and stubborn fat loss are symptoms that can have you running to the doc and asking, "can you check my thyroid?".  But all too often, that request has you getting only a portion of your thyroid story.  In today's episode I simply open up a conversation about thyroid and shed some light on thyroid function and testing so you have a jump start on your own research and discoveries into your own health. If this kind of thing leaves you wanting more, then make sure to go to www.MichelleFit.com/bloodtests and get on the waitlist for my upcoming course: Top 5 Blood Tests for Women: How to Order, Understand and Monitor  I can't wait!  Also, if you have questions or need further information, be sure to leave me a voicemail right from my homepage at www.MichelleFit.com or click on the CONTACT tab from the homepage and drop me an email.  I'd love to hear from you! Episode 47: Question Everything!

Seems simple, but this is truly one of the best little tools in your tool box. Why? It forces you to think about things outside the box. Especially when it's something that you "believe". And beliefs are nothing more than thoughts that we think, repeatedly. When we get "stuck" in a belief or thought process, we tend to just let it sit . . .  Whether that's how you eat, how you workout, or your thoughts about particular people or relationships, when you question everything you begin to look at it in a new light - which can shift your perspective and open up opportunities for  - greater health - less stress - increased growth - beneficial change So join me as we walk through what this means, and give examples of exactly how to question things. I guarantee you'll have at least one aha moment. If not, you can have your money back. And since this podcast is free, you know what that means ;-) If you'd like to take your health to the next level, then get on the waitlist for my upcoming course: How to Order, Understand, and Monitor the Top Five Blood Tests for Women inside my online coaching Academy.  Get empowered by taking the reins of your health and make a difference in how you feel (and as a bonus, how you look!).  Plus, contact me directly by going to www.MichelleFit.com and click on the "contact" tab, or leave me a voicemail using the pop-up green tab. Episode 48: Carb Sensitivity and Why Carbs Get a Bad Rap (is it fair?)

High carb, low carb . . . why all the focus on carbs? Is it all hype, or are there some things we should consider?  Why is there a difference between people that can eat all the "carbs" they want, and others just look at carbs and get bloated and gain weight? That's referred to as "carb tolerance". There are several things that can make up your carb tolerance. And, there's some anecdotal evidence that points to the ability to even alter your carb tolerance, with some basic lifestyle changes.  So we dig into everything surrounding the idea of carbohydrates - and start to break down the "bad rap" that's often associated with those energy-packed carbs. Consider diving deeper into your health by learning about your own blood work, order your own blood work (from the top five "batches" I encourage my clients to order), and even how to work with your doctor in the evolving world of healthcare, then make sure you're on the waitlist for the January 2018 release of our COURSE: Top Five Blood Tests For Women How to Order, Understand, and Monitor Them . . .  As well as the opportunity to work with ME in an affordable, online coaching format with the January 2018 BETA release of the Modern Health Academy (stay tuned for more info!) Episode 34: Can You “Self-Love” Your Way to a Lower Body Fat?

The Beyond Burning Fat Podcast is brought to you by: www.MichelleFit.com Today’s Show: Can You “Self-Love” Your Way to a Lower Body Fat?   We’ll answer that question at the end but first, we’ll go through three practical exercises that have you beginning to cultivate more love for yourself. Why exercises? Because oftentimes the advice is to just “be more loving”, or “be more accepting of yourself.” But how? How do we begin to do that, especially if we have a long pattern of self-hatred? So, these three exercises actually trick you into brining up loving feelings for yourself – or feelings associated with love, like understanding, affection, tenderness, and trust. And that can begin to turn the self-hatred ship around! (And yes, contributes to your overall health and physique!) So glad you’re here -- let’s jump into the episode! * * * Hello!
