Let God have the final say.    “Now a woman, having a flow of blood for twelve years, who had spent all her livelihood on physicians and could not be healed by any, came from behind and touched the border of His garment. And immediately her flow of blood stopped.”  - Luke 8:43-44 (NKJV) 

That’s what was going on.    "If I may but touch His garment, I shall be whole.”  - Matthew 9:21 (KJV)

He wanted the people to know.    “He said to her, ‘Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace.’”  -  Luke 8:48 (NKJV)

That’s what is so regrettable.    “...no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace.”  - Romans 11:6 (KJV)

He showed great faithfulness–initially.

Temptation doesn’t take a moment off.    “I too am a prophet as you are, and an angel spoke to me by the word of the Lord, saying, ‘Bring him back with you to your house.’”  - 1 Kings 13:18 (NKJV)

He’s remembered for that.    “God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.”  - 1 Corinthians 10:13 (NKJV)

You can do great things.    “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”  - Philippians 4:13 (NKJV)

An unlikely friend…    “...made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth.”  - Acts 17:26 (KJV)

How do you see yourself?    “For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.”  - Galatians 3:26 (KJV)

He’ll remake you in His image.    “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”  - 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV) 

It fell 200+ miles!    “Behold, this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is the Lord; we have waited for Him; we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.”  - Isaiah 25:9 (NKJV)

There can be no doubt.

“I’m staying with them!”    “Inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.”   - Matthew 25:40 (NKJV) 

It becomes a curse.    “Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled.”  - Hebrews 13:4 (NASB)

Don’t confuse the gifts of God with your own greatness.    “Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord.”  - Proverbs 16:5 (KJV)

It’s the last thing you want to do.    “Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.”  - Isaiah 58:1 (KJV) 

Remember who you are.    “Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble.”  - Romans 12:16 (NKJV)

You are representing God.    “Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.”  - Romans 12:11 (KJV)

You don’t have to like it.    “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.”  - Romans 13:1 (KJV)

Don’t be like that.    “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”  - Romans 12:21 (NKJV)

It’s never okay.    “Recompense to no man evil for evil.”  - Romans 12:17 (KJV) 

Let others get the credit.    “Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honor preferring one another.”  - Romans 12:10 (KJV)

Don’t squander the opportunities.    “Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.”   - Romans 12:14 (KJV) 

It did not apply to them.    “He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth.”   - Acts 17:26 (NKJV) 

Trials are temporary.   “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.” - 2 Corinthians 4:17 (NKJV)

Many decisions can’t be unmade.   “[Eve] took of its fruit and ate.” - Genesis 3:6 (NKJV)

The effects will be huge.   “Beloved, now we are children of God.” - 1 John 3:2 (NKJV)

Finally some sanity…   “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” - Romans 12:2 (NKJV)

They were envious.   “These last men have worked only one hour, and you made them equal to us who have borne the burden and the heat of the day.” - Matthew 20:12 (NKJV) 

The gift is the same.   “Is your eye evil because I am good?” - Matthew 20:15 (NKJV)

Who is this we’re talking about?   “Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand, measured heaven with a span and calculated the dust of the earth in a measure? Weighed the mountains in scales and the hills in a balance?” - Isaiah 40:12 (NKJV)

They wished they had done it years ago.   “The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.” - Psalm 19:9 (KJV)

"Entirely exaggerated…”   “...justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.” - Romans 3:24 (KJV)

It sold for more than twice that much.   “...have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.” - 2 Peter 1:1 (KJV)

You get influenced.   “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” - 2 Corinthians 3:18 (NKJV)

That’s why you’re here!    “Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth.”   - James 1:18 (NKJV)

There’s too much at stake.    “And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed.”  - Revelation 12:17 (KJV)

He expected the man to read.    “He [Jesus] said to him, ‘What is written in the law? What is your reading of it?’”  - Luke 10:26 (NKJV)

He didn’t tell the man.    “He said to him, ‘What is written in the law? What is your reading of it?’”  - Luke 10:26 (NKJV)

Selfish people would be lining up to go.    “Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”  - Luke 10:25 (KJV)

What else was he going to say?    “My son, let them not depart from your eyes—keep sound wisdom and discretion.”  - Proverbs 3:21 (NKJV)

Most people don’t want to be saved.    “[Jesus] was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification.”  - Romans 4:25 (NKJV) 

You cannot earn it.    “To him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness.”  - Romans 4:5 (NKJV)

How can you apply this to your life?    “He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God.”  - Romans 4:20 (NKJV)

Of course he did!    “[Ahaziah] did evil in the sight of the Lord, and walked in the way of his father, and in the way of his mother.”  - 1 Kings 22:52 (KJV)

Figure out what’s truly important.    “Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.”  - Proverbs 31:30 (NKJV) 

If you need to change direction, change direction!    “O man of God, thus hath the king said, ‘Come down quickly.’”  - 2 Kings 1:11 (KJV)

Fun is fun–when it’s fun…    “I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”  - John 14:2-3 (KJV) 

It will come naturally.    “And Ahaziah [King of Israel] fell down through a lattice in his upper chamber that was in Samaria, and was sick: and he sent messengers, and said unto them, ‘Go, enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron whether I shall recover of this disease.’”  - 2 Kings 1:2 (KJV)

“Victory is not a strong enough name…”    “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”  - Romans 8:37 (NKJV)

There shouldn’t be any reason…    “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?”  - Romans 8:31 (KJV)

Just say yes to God.    “Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called: and whom He called, them He also justified: and whom He justified, them He also glorified.”   - Romans 8:30 (KJV)

Even creation will be blessed.    “For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.”  - Romans 8:22 (NKJV)

We will see for ourselves.    “For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.… Because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.”  - Romans 8:19, 21 (NKJV)

Bring that thinking to matters of faith.    “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”  - Romans 8:18 (KJV)

That’s not even a great question to ask.    “And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together.”  -  Romans 8:17 (KJV) 

What kind of faith would Christianity be?    “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.”  - Romans 8:16 (NKJV)

The father you can trust…    You received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, ‘Abba, Father.’”  - Romans 8:15 (NKJV)

You have a bright future!    “For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, ‘Abba, Father.’”   - Romans 8:15 (NKJV) 

Are you settling for crumbs?    “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”  - Romans 8:14 (KJV)

Two roads, two directions…    "For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.”  - Romans 8:13 (NKJV) 

Shun debt like the plague?    “Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.”  - Romans 8:12 (KJV)

You know the feeling.    “But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.”  - Romans 8:11 (NKJV)

Let today be the day.    And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.”  - Romans 8:10 (KJV)

No salvation?    “But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His.”  -  Romans 8:9 (KJV)

We need that.    “So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.”  - Romans 8:8 (KJV)

Not everyone wants to confront this.    “Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.”  - Romans 8:7 (KJV)

The whole thing is unnecessary.    “To be spiritually minded is life and peace.”  - Romans 8:6 (KJV)

You do your best to avoid it.    “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”  - Romans 8:6 (KJV)

You CAN ignore the truth.    “For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.”  - Romans 8:5 (KJV)

Jesus figured it out.    “That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”  - Romans 8:4 (KJV)

Is that an excuse?    “For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh.”  - Romans 8:3 (KJV)

That’s the issue.    “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.  - Romans 8:1 (KJV)

You would be more careful.    “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?”  - Romans 6:1 (KJV)

It’s nice and simple.    “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”  - Romans 5:1 (KJV)

“The more it is chewed, the more pleasant it is.”    “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes.”  - Romans 1:16 (NKJV) 

You’re making an even bigger mistake.    “Sin shall not have dominion over you.”  - Romans 6:14 (KJV) 

How did that happen?    “For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing.”  - Ecclesiastes 9:5 (KJV)

A small seed can become a big tree.    “The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field.”  - Matthew 13:31 (KJV)

Don’t listen to the devil.    “For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.”  - John 3:17 (KJV)

The entire family was a mess.    “And behold, the Lord stood above it and said: ‘I am the Lord God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants.’”  - Genesis 28:13 (NKJV) 

He created quite the scene!     “‘Have you only one blessing, my father? Bless me—me also, O my father!” And Esau lifted up his voice and wept.”   - Genesis 27:38 (NKJV)

Things will eventually unravel.    “The voice is Jacob’s voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau.”  - Genesis 27:22 (KJV)

The whole thing backfired.    “Now therefore, my son, obey my voice according to what I command you.”  - Genesis 27:8 (NKJV)

It was God’s will.    “Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will.”  -  Ephesians 1:5 (KJV) 

The gold medals were dissolved.    “The dead in Christ shall rise first.”  - 1 Thessalonians 4:16 (KJV)

They broke into a prison!    “Whoever commits sin is a slave of sin... If the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.”  - John 8:34, 36 (NKJV)

The battle is real.    “The devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”  - 1 Peter 5:8 (NKJV)

Character counts.    “A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches.”  - Proverbs 22:1 (KJV) 

People do it all the time!    “...is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.”  - Matthew 13:44 (NKJV)

Police say it will never be found.    “More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold.”  - Psalm 19:10 (KJV)

If you’ve waited, God will accept you.    “You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right you will receive.”  - Matthew 20:7 (NKJV)

Think of something REALLY valuable.    “...the unsearchable riches of Christ.”  - Ephesians 3:8 (KJV)

If it seems hard, think about this!    “Put a knife to your throat if you are a man given to appetite.”   - Proverbs 23:2 (NKJV)

Many people are hard on themselves.    “Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit…, and you are not your own.”  - 1 Corinthians 6:19 (NKJV) 

As bad as chronic disease!    “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”  - Hebrews 10:25 (KJV)

Here’s what’s really good for you.   “For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.” - 1 Timothy 4:8 (NKJV)

She didn’t have to know how.    “The voice is Jacob’s voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau.”  - Genesis 27:22 (KJV)

The “fussy eater” went blind.    “Show me Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths.”   - Psalm 25:4 (NKJV) 

Your eternal life depends on it.    “A prudent man foresees evil and hides himself; The simple pass on and are punished.”   - Proverbs 27:12 (NKJV)

It can be difficult to say, “No more.”    “Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied.”  - Proverbs 27:20 (KJV)

Be careful how you get it and give it.    “The crucible is for silver and the furnace for gold, and each is tested by the praise accorded him.”  - Proverbs 27:21 (NASB)

There’s no need to calculate odds.    “Go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her.”   - Genesis 16:2 (KJV)

You are worth it.    “He shall see of the travail of His soul, and shall be satisfied.”   - Isaiah 53:11 (KJV)

What would you say?    “These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.”  - 1 John 5:13 (NKJV)

How are you helped by that?    “I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and indeed, all is vanity and grasping for the wind.”   - Ecclesiastes 1:14 (NKJV)

It will give your life certainty.    “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”  -  Matthew 3:17 (KJV) 

You’ll be overtaken.    “...His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the beloved.”  - Ephesians 1:6 (KJV)

The answer is simple and profound.    “He who has the Son has life.”  - 1 John 5:12 (NKJV) 

It’s hard to get your mind around some things, but let’s try.     “And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, ‘Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.’”  - Revelation 21:3 (KJV)

Imagine that goodbye…    “He gave His only begotten Son,”  - John 3:16 (NKJV)

What are you doing to guard your mind?    “In the last days perilous times shall come.”  - 2 Timothy 3:1 (KJV)

That’s worth living for.    “I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness.”   - Acts 26:16 (NKJV)

He turned himself in after 15 years.    “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”  - 1 John 1:9 (NKJV)

That’s not what God does.    “And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet.”  - Malachi 4:3 (KJV)

 It does massive damage.    “Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”  - 1 Corinthians 10:31 (NKJV)

It doesn’t mean God is not working.    “There is a cloud, as small as a man’s hand, rising out of the sea!”  - 1 Kings 18:44 (NKJV) 

He was a very successful man.    “This poor widow has put in more than all those who have given to the treasury.”  - Mark 12:43 (NKJV)

The devil is hoping that you’ll give up.     “Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith…”  - Hebrews 12:2 (NKJV)

The devil has no higher priority.    “They are new every morning.”  - Lamentations 3:23 (KJV)

No more problems from that dog…    “The times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent.”   - Acts 17:30 (KJV)

They’re all around you.      “Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.”  - Colossians 4:5 (KJV)

You’re not going to forget, are you?   “For the Father Himself loves you.” - John 16:27 (NKJV)

You can have tough days…    “My soul clings to the dust; revive me according to Your word.”  - Psalm 119:25 NKJV

We’re caught in a very real battle.    “...Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.”  - 1 Thessalonians 1:10 (KJV)

The neighbors’ mischievous dog…    “Though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.”  - 2 Corinthians 4:16 (KJV)

There’s not a single advantage.    “Your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”  - 1 Peter 5:8 (NKJV)

Do not go gentle into that good night.    “I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself.”  - John 14:2-3 (KJV)

Isn’t that pathetic?    “Thou shalt not steal.”  - Exodus 20:15 (KJV)

Life has to be hard when…    “You are complete in Him.”   - Colossians 2:10 (NKJV)

He was intentional.    “And everyone went to his own house.… But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.”  - John 7:53; 8:1 (NKJV)

Live with salvation in view.    “Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober.”  - 1 Peter 1:13 (KJV)

What’s the usual default reaction?    “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness,”  - Matthew 6:33 (NKJV)

Words have a great impact.    “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.”  - Ephesians 4:29 (KJV)

Your decision will influence your attitude.    “[They] were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.”  - Acts 13:52 (NKJV)

Consult it today.    “Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.”  - Proverbs 11:14 (NKJV)

It could have been so much worse.    “Your testimonies also are my delight; they are my advisers.”  - Psalm 119:24 (NASB)

It all fades away.    “But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles…, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.”   - Revelation 21:27 (NKJV)

He makes everything new.    “...a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.”  - Revelation 2:17 (NKJV)

Nothing held him back!    “They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”  - Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)

Anyone can complain.    “Do all things without murmurings and disputings.”  - Philippians 2:14 (KJV)

Small things, big consequences…    “So shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth; it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”  - Isaiah 55:11 (NKJV)

Let today be no exception.    “And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment.”  - Philippians 1:9 (NKJV) 

You want good guidance.    “Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it,’ whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left.”   - Isaiah 30:21 (NKJV)

It only causes harm.    “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.”   - John 10:10 (NKJV)

More important than food!    “I have esteemed the words of His mouth more than my necessary food.”  - Job 23:12 (KJV)

We ain’t seen nothin’ yet.    “...whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish.”   - 2 Thessalonians 2:9-10 (KJV)

The two men were unwise.    “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”  - Psalm 119:105 (NKJV)

You don’t need to do that.    “He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength.”  - Isaiah 40:29 (NKJV)

What did they think would happen?    “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”  - James 4:7 (KJV)

I made up for lost time.    “He who has knowledge spares his words, and a man of understanding is of a calm spirit.”  - Proverbs 17:27 (NKJV)

What are you doing with it?    “Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.”  - Luke 12:43 (KJV)

Could it be said…?    “Where is He that is born King of the Jews?”  - Matthew 2:2 (KJV)

That shouldn’t be hard.    “Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.”  - 1 Peter 2:17 (KJV)

Everyone can learn from that.    “And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.”  - Luke 2:7 (NKJV)

It’s not all beautiful sunsets.    “The angel said to her, ‘Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.’”  - Luke 1:30 (NKJV)

You can’t hide what is in your heart.    “But He knew their thoughts.”  - Luke 6:8 (KJV)

How to satisfy your thirst…    “I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.”  - Revelation 21:6 (NKJV)

The road of negativity and criticism…   “This man is a great healer.” Yet their prime concern was “...that they might find an accusation against Him.” - Luke 6:7 (KJV)

Be ready when that opportunity comes.   “Whoever shuts his ears to the cry of the poor will also cry himself and not be heard.” - Proverbs 21:13 (NKJV)

I had no idea what he was saying.   “Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.” - James 1:19 (KJV)

They did something extraordinary.   “Have faith in God.” - Mark 11:22 (KJV)

When you look back over your life...   "His angels ... do His word, heeding the voice of His word." - Psalm 103:20 (NKJV)

The attack had been brewing for some time.   "His name shall be called ... the Prince of Peace." - Isaiah 9:6 (NKJV)

It was time to move on.   “The Lord said to Joshua: “Get up! Why do you lie thus on your face?” - Joshua 7:10 (NKJV)

Stop blaming Jesus!   "They begged Him to depart from their region." - Matthew 8:34 (NKJV)

Today Auschwitz is a museum.   “I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.” - Daniel 7:11 (KJV)

It’s a reality check.   “A fiery stream issued and came forth from before Him: thousand thousands ministered unto Him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.” - Daniel 7:10 (KJV)

The foundation for end-time prophecy…   "After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.” - Daniel 7:7 (KJV)

It moved rapidly.   “After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.” - Daniel 7:6 (KJV)

Beyond emotional excitement…    “Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.”  - Ephesians 5:14 (NKJV)

Not one Bible verse says so.   “There was seen in His temple the ark of His testament.” - Revelation 11:19 (KJV)

Jesus needed to pray.    “[Jesus] … continued all night in prayer to God.”  - Luke 6:12 (KJV)

“It was the best in the world!”   “Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think...” - Ephesians 3:20 (KJV)

God would say the same today.   “Oh, that you had heeded my commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.” - Isaiah 48:18 (NKJV)

Fighting against God is futile.   “Yield yourselves unto God.” - Romans 6:13 (KJV)

If you let Him, He will.   “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten.… You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you.” - Joel 2:25-26 (NKJV)

Make a strong and lasting impression.   “And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power.” - 1 Corinthians 2:4 (KJV)

“It’s what my church teaches!”   “That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.” - 1 Corinthians 2:5 (KJV)

He said he wasn’t a good preacher.   “My speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power.” - 1 Corinthians 2:4 (KJV)

The right question to ask is…   “I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.” - 1 Corinthians 2:3 (KJV)

This was strategic.   “I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.” - 1 Corinthians 2:2 (KJV)

It was marinating in idolatry.   “For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.” - 1 Corinthians 2:2 (KJV)

It doesn’t take a genius to figure it out.   “Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.” - Genesis 1:29 (KJV)

The word is “Studebaker.”   “God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it He had rested from all His work which God created and made.” - Genesis 2:3 (KJV)

And a toboggan!   “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved.” - Acts 16:31 (NKJV)

He spoke for just two minutes.   “And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.” - 1 Corinthians 2:1-2 (KJV)

“The greatest day of the Reformation…”   “Order my steps in Thy word.” - Psalm 119:133 (KJV)

God uses the imperfect.   “The path of the righteous is like the light of dawn that shines brighter and brighter until the full day.” - Proverbs 4:18 (NASB)

Tradition doesn’t work.   “...Christ in you, the hope of glory.” - Colossians 1:27 (KJV)

Some have been fooled by tradition.   “The entrance of Your words gives light.” - Psalm 119:130 (NKJV)

Recognize the value of your calling.   “If anyone serves me, him my Father will honor.” - John 12:26 (NKJV)

He was a marked man.   “Preach the word.” - 2 Timothy 4:2 (KJV)

He was the Morning Star of the Reformation.   “Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.” - John 17:17 (NKJV)

You can have eternity.   “He who has the Son has life.” - 1 John 5:12 (NKJV)

Eternity stretches ahead.   “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.” - Romans 15:4 (KJV)

It’s well worth looking within.   “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” - Exodus 20:3 (KJV)

This will keep you free.   “I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.” - Exodus 20:2 (KJV)

Misunderstandings often arise.   “When the children of Israel heard of it, the whole congregation of the children of Israel gathered themselves together at Shiloh, to go up to war against them.” - Joshua 22:12 (KJV)

Sinners don’t need to be cheered on.   “Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.” - Proverbs 27:6 (KJV)

Aim high. Aim to grow.   “...Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” - Ephesians 3:20 (NKJV)

So you might live.   “Who did no sin, neither was guile found in His mouth.” - 1 Peter 2:22 (KJV)

Don’t let it be for nothing.   “My God, my God, why have You forsaken me?” - Psalm 22:1 (NKJV)

Intended for your eternal good…   “When Thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. Let favour be shewed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness.” - Isaiah 26:9-10 (KJV)

It was buried 70 years before.   “When you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors!” - Matthew 24:33 (NKJV)

The greatest deceptions are still to come.   “They worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast.... You’ve never been worse off because you trusted God.   “In the beginning God created.” - Genesis 1:1 (KJV)

A safeguard against the stresses of modern life…   “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.” - Exodus 20:8 (NKJV)
