If you have an interest in true crime stories, you may have heard of this one. June 25, 1973, a seven-year-old girl goes missing from a Montana campground where her family is vacationing. This is an extraordinary story, told really well by author Ron Franscell. It was a book I couldn't put down. I talked with Ron this week and was fascinated to hear him talk about what drew him to this case.

A Houston attorney representing 125 concert-goers filed a $750 million lawsuit against Travis Scott, Drake, Live Nation, Apple Music, and Epic Records for the deadly disaster at the Astroworld Festival earlier this month. Among the plaintiffs are the family of 21-year-old Axel Acosta, one of the 10 fans who died when the crowd surged. The attorney says he plans to file suit on behalf of 100 others soon.

Gary LeVox, lead singer for Rascal Flatt’s, has a new solo project coming out at the end of May, it’s an EP called “One on One.” A contemporary Christian project, the first single, “The Distance,” is out now. We had a chance to catch up about his new project, his very first public singing performance at the age of 8 (he even sings some of the song he did back then during the interview). We also discussed the possibility of him writing a book and addressed a rumor that came out yesterday about Rascal Flatt’s getting back together. Check it out here

Kelly Corrigan is a four-time New York Times best-selling author who has just come out with her first children’s book, Hello World! She also hosts a tv show, Tell Me More on PBS and has a podcast, Kelly Corrigan Wonders. I’ve had the pleasure of talking with her before and she’s always really interesting. In our latest conversation, she talks about why parents should encourage their kids to be curious and ask the people in their lives more questions, why she wrote a children’s book and will there be more to follow, and what happened when she did a test run with her new book, reading it on zoom to some young kids.
