I’m sharing with you an easy reviewing exercise in this episode. That’s right, the work is already done for you! Just write down those questions and take a 20-minute walk and think through your answers or get your notebook out and reflect on the questions. About a month ago, I went on a 30-day digital declutter recommended by the author Cal Newport in his book, Digital Minimalism. 39. Embracing Boredom

I bet you’ve never heard that you have to embrace boredom to get to your weight loss goal. I learned about this idea in Cal Newport’s book, Deep Work, and it blew my mind. I was so intrigued that I immediately researched what it means to embrace boredom, talked to my friends about it, and went on a little experimental trip to understand this idea more. I knew it was revolutionary and yet, I instantly rejected it. Embrace boredom! But why? How? Who even?! 34. The Difference Between Easy and Ease

My two favorite sayings are “Let it be simple” and “Lose weight with ease”. What I don’t say is weight loss should be easy. In today’s episode, I break down why that is and then share with you the difference between easy and ease. 31. How to Know When to Get Started

18. Body Thoughts

We’re talking about body thoughts in this episode. I’ve never heard anyone dive deep into their thoughts about bodies like we are in today’s episode. We’re not just talking about whether you like your body or not, we're exploring your thoughts about your body, your beliefs about how bodies should or shouldn’t be in general, and whether those beliefs might be coming from. At the beginning of working with a new client, I always ask my client why they want to lose weight. Many times our reason for losing weight and changing our bodies is due to old, outdated beliefs about bodies. So in this episode, I want you to get open and curious with yourself as we dive into your past beliefs about your body, current beliefs, and then get super intentional with what you want your future beliefs about your body to be. I’ll take you through the different sources you might be using to inform your beliefs about bodies right now (intentionally and unintentionally) and how to change those beliefs if you so decide to moving forward. Your body thoughts are an important part of your weight loss journey. Get some awareness around your body thoughts to see how that’s affecting your current weight loss journey. I have very few (and simple) tools in my toolbelt when it comes to losing weight and maintaining that weight loss with ease. The hunger scale is one of those tools. 8. Short-Term and Long-Term Goals

And now I’m giving you the opportunity to double down on that love in the short-term and long-term! In episode 3, we talked about how to set a weight loss goal. In this episode, we’re diving even deeper into goals and breaking them down between short-term and long-term and why both are so important and useful on your weight loss journey. I recommend setting a long-term goal, whether it’s weight loss, body love or confidence, strength or endurance, or health-related. Listen in for the three reasons I recommend long-term goals and how to use them to live the life you really want. I recommend setting short-term goals to learn how to experiment, test solutions, double up on celebrating, and evaluate (and of course to make hitting your long-term goal a no-brainer).
